FALL GOTCHA FEELING FRENZIED?

GOT STRESS, A RESTLNESS MIND, INSOMNIA?

Well, that kinda sucks the life force out of you now doesn't it? 

Here's the good news, it can tooootally be the result of the season we're in. Yup. 

HERE'S THE SEASON REASON

LET'S TALK ABOUT VATA (vah-ta)

::: Vata is one of three doshas (not donuts, though I must be craving them). The other two are Pitta and Kapha. 

::: The doshas (Vata, Pitta, Kapha) make you who you are, mind type, physical body type/frame/size, food likes/dislikes, etc. The doshas are made up of the five elements (earth, water, fire, air, space). The elements get mixed up (like a cocktail minus the vodka) and create the 3 doshas. Got it? 

::: All three doshas are within us, however, in different amounts and blends. They can change based on the season in amounts. So, we can have an excess, deficiency or be in balance. Clearly we want balance. 

GOT AIR? aka: VATA? 

Did ya see that unicorn? Get it? (yogi jokes people)

 

 

 

Here's how to tell if you have an excess of the air element (aka Vata-ed outta your mind).

::: Feeling or being flighty/spacey

::: Unable to sit or be still

::: Feeling rushed, lifted off your feet, fidgety, unfocused

::: Dryness in the joints (snap, crackle, pop), skin, constipated? 

::: You bounced out of bed, chugged coffee (ok me), then zipped around multi-tasking like a champ, but you never really focused, you have 30 tabs open on your laptop, while you're texting and speaking on the phone all while eating your chia seed pudding. Speaking of, my fav recipe here.
